i think the layout needs to be changed, you home page is quite snazzy but i think the pages where the content is lacks structure, it just looks...
personally I think there's too much going on, your photos are good but they're brought down by the website I'm afraid :(

I think derelict buildings always have a thoughtful quality to them, to think such a modern city has so many buildings to photograph, great website :D

I think the first image fully fulfils the idea you wanted but i do think the stalk in the second on is a bit too feint :P
I prefer the colour version, I think the contrast in between the light green and the brown is more prominent than the contrast in the black and...
