Afreco Tours

Afreco offers Wildlife Photography Workshops / Courses and photographic Safaris in Africa.

The Wildlife Photography Workshops are run by professional photographers and safari guides to cater for all levels of photography, from professional photographers to the complete beginners. The courses provide expert tuition to people who want to learn about photography and wildlife; groups are not overcrowded with a maximum of six
people per group.

The focus of this courses is to provide a basic
understanding of animal behaviour and the sensitivities
of working with wildlife to allow the photographer the best chance of capturing great wildlife photos. This is an ideal
pre-safari option - so that you can then use your newly learned skills and apply then to your safari holiday, volunteer project or gap year experience.

The courses offer an enjoyable way to learn how to
use your camera to the best of its ability or to build
on the knowledge you already have. They are also great safaris!

Our Photographic Safaris are extended workshops and concentrate more on the safari aspect. They are intended
to capture specific wildlife behaviour and phenomena at pertinent times during the year, i.e. the migration in the Serengeti. Course locations vary from year to year and we also offer bespoke trips to small groups of 4 – 6 people.
Again it is open to all levels from beginners to enthusiasts and professionals.

You will be hosted by top photographers that are also guides wanting to share more than just their knowledge of the big five. The guides are internationally sought after for their expertise and have guided in many African countries.

Many of the workshops and safaris are offered in game reserves throughout Africa (and occasionally further afield), ensuring a wide variety of wildlife and habitats. The Workshops are arranged to give you the maximum photographic opportunities at specific times of the year.
