    Did you update the Firmware on your X-T1 before using the 100/400 because it is necessary to ensure the best focus responce etc? This may be the reason you had some problems getting fast focus/sharp shots on the X-T1 with fast moving objects.
    I have no problems getting fast focus on my setup of X-T1 with 100/400 +X1.4 extender with the latest software!
