Vivitar has unveiled a series of DSLR lenses at the PMA show in Las Vegas.

The new Vivitar lenses are: an 85mm f/1.4, 500mm f/8 and 800mm f/8 mirror lenses; and a 650-1300mm ‘super telephoto’. A universal mounting ring for the latter is designed to allow the lens to fit ‘practically all SLR cameras manufactured since 1960’.

There are also new flashguns designed to be compatible with Canon, Nikon, Sony, Olympus, Pentax and Panasonic DSLRs.

The manufacturer, Sakar International, says the new gear is due out in the US this spring.
