Photobox '24 Live' event just 24 hours away

Photographers are set to take part in a 24 hour photo competition from noon on Wednesday 24th August to win hourly prizes and an overall £3000 cash prize, courtesy of Photobox

This Wednesday 24th August at noon, this year's ‘24 LIVE’ will get underway, challenging photographers up and down the country and across the world to a series of photo projects.

Every hour for 24hours a different photo challenge is set, from ‘Snap a self portrait' to the emotive 'Capture this moment' and the abstract 'Things in threes'. Each hourly winner will receive a prize from camera kit to theatre tickets or a family holiday to Florida.

From the 24 photo finalists one image alone will be chosen by the Metro’s Picture Editor and Chairman of the Picture Editor's Guild, Alan Sparrow. This overall winner be then be awarded the grand £3000 cash prize.
