Spaceman Aldrin lands on South Bank for photoshoot

Former astronaut Buzz Aldrin arrived on London's South Bank for a photoshoot this morning.

Amateur Photographer's Barney Britton was among those gathered outside the Royal Festival Hall to take pictures of Aldrin who is in London to promote his memoirs in the run-up to the 40th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 mission to the moon.

Tomorrow the rocketman will deliver a talk at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the London Literature Festival.
