High street photographic retailer Jessops has re-launched its flagship London store, billing it as a 'radical step forward' in customer service.

The shop, in New Oxford Street, encourages customers to 'interact' with products on display.

It boasts 14 photo processing kiosks - the largest number in any Jessops store - and is the first to offer on-site canvas printing. Canvas prints can be printed, mounted and collected within the hour, according to the chain which aims to create a contemporary environment 'conducive to creativity'.

Customers, from 'novice to professional', can also take part in photography courses in the Jessops Academy Training room.

Jessops' Retail Director Dominic Prendergast said: 'Our customers are at the heart of every decision we make and evidence of this can be witnessed throughout the store from the ergonomic design to the dedicated Jessops Academy Training room.

'We are confident our customers will embrace the change as much as we have and look forward to showcasing the future of Jessops direct to consumers.'
