Unseen Elton John photographs uncovered

Previously 'unpublished' images of rock star Sir Elton John are among photographs uncovered for an exhibition that opens in London next month.

Plucked from the archive of celebrity photographer Terry O'Neill, the images document Elton's life in a way 'never before seen', according to the gallery, Proud Camden.

O'Neill said: 'You can't help but love Elton. He's a genius, an enigma, a star, possibly one of the greatest of all time.'

Eltonography: A Life in Pictures will open at Proud Camden in London on 24 September.
