Olympus has today announced the E-520, a 10-million-pixel digital SLR featuring a built-in image stabiliser and Live View system.
Due to hit UK stores in June priced £479.99 (body only) the E-520 sports a 2.7in LCD screen, dust reduction and a burst rate of 3.5 frames per second for up to eight raw images.
The Four Thirds system newcomer also boasts Face Detection, wireless flash control and Shadow Adjustment Technology to help improve exposure for dark areas of a scene.
Also new from Olympus is the Zuiko Digital ED 9-18mm f/4-5.6, a lens designed to deliver the 35mm viewing angle equivalent of an 18-36mm zoom.
The 280g optic will go on sale in September at a price yet to be announced. It boasts a minimum focusing distance of 25cm.
