A photographer injured during violence in Ukraine carried on taking pictures despite being injured.

Gleb Garanich, a photographer at news agency Reuters, was seemingly undeterred following clashes between protesters and police in Kiev.

Blood can be seen coming from the head of the photographer in images posted on the internet after riot police moved in to disperse protesters.

Officers reportedly deployed stun grenades and batons to remove protesters from Independence Square, according to media reports.

The violence was triggered by the Ukrainian government’s refusal to sign an EU trade deal.
