An amateur photographer from Dorset has triumphed in this year?s Wish You Were Here competition.

Norrie Phillips, from Highcliff, scooped top spot for his picture entitled ?Fishing Sheds?, captured on Holy Island, Northumberland.

The annual contest searches for the best nautical image by an amateur and aims to revive the great British tradition of the ?seaside postcard?.

It is organised by Amateur Photographer, Old Pulteney Single Malt Scotch Whisky, and the Sunday Express newspaper.

Norrie won £2,500, plus a trip to the Pulteney Distillery in Scotland.

The runners up were Lawrence Cartwright from Hove and David Roberts from Eastbourne, East Sussex.
