Designed to be compatible with full-frame DSLRs and those with an APS-C-sized imaging sensor, the SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 features vibration-reduction image stabilisation and three low-dispersion elements.

It will be compatible with Canon, Nikon and Sony mounts.

The lens is built from 20 elements in 13 groups and features nine diaphragm blades.

The 1,951g optic is due to go on display at the Salon de la Photo show in Paris, France which opens today and runs until 11 November.
