Independent lens maker Sigma has revealed a pair of fisheye lenses designed to be suitable for both film and digital SLRs.

First up is a 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Diagonal Fisheye. Priced around £450 features include a minimum focusing distance of 15cm, minimum aperture of f/22 and a maximum magnification of 1:3.8.

Sigma has also released an 8mm f/4 EX DG Circular Fisheye boasting a minimum aperture of f/32 and an angle of view of 180º when attached to a full-frame digital or 35mm film-based SLR, claims Sigma The 8mm lens costs £579.88.

Both optics include a multi-layer lens coating designed to reduce flare and ghosting. They are available in Sigma, Canon, Nikon, Pentax and Konica Minolta fits.
