NEWS UPDATE: AP’S ROYAL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER INTERVIEW HERE

Speaking from his studio in Notting Hill, London, Burnand reportedly told Sky News Australia: ?I?ve known for a while; a job like this is obviously a big job and a historic moment and I?ve had lots of time to go over lots of ideas.

‘It?s a wonderful honour? I?m not nervous. I?m genuinely excited.?

He added: ‘I’ve had a bit of time to prepare and work out what I’m going to do – it’s like running a race, I just want to get on and run the race.’

Burnand is said to have had an interest in cameras from a young age and made prints using ?a makeshift darkroom in his family?s kitchen?.

At the time of writing, Prince William and Kate Middleton had yet to officially confirm that Burnand has been chosen for the role.
