Sony has outlined plans to launch six new lenses, including a ‘super-telephoto’.

Details and launch dates are scant but we understand there will be an 18-55mm; 55-200mm; 50mm (f/1.8); and 30mm (f/2.8).

Reiji Seki who heads up Sony’s Alpha DSLR division also told us that Sony will launch a 28-75mm f/2.8 lens for full-frame.

Some of the lenses will be launched this year, but Seki was not prepared to tell us which ones.

The ‘concept’ lenses are being showcased on the Sony stand at PMA.

The focal length of the super-telephoto is being kept under wraps.

Seki revealed the plans in an exclusive interview with AP during a Sony product showcase at PMA in Las Vegas.
