Photokina 2014 attendance matches 2012, say organisers

The 33rd Photokina attracted 1,074 companies from 51 countries over its six-day run – more than two-thirds of which came from outside Germany.

These included 180 first-time exhibitors.

Gerald Böse, president of Koelnmesse GmbH, which hosts the biennial show, said: ‘Cologne is “the place to be” for the photographic and imaging industry.

‘This is where the industry charts the future course of the business.’
