A paparazzo photographer ended up in hospital and another in jail after the pair fought to secure the best view of British singer Pixie Lott.

The two photographers were vying for the best spot of photographing Lott from an airport curb at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday night, according to reports.

Photographer Stefan Saad, 42 was arrested at 9.40pm on 26 March and charged with ?felony battery?.

He was released on bail in the early hours of the following morning after posting $50,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff?s Department website.

The other photographer, whose details have not been released, was treated at a local hospital.
