Police continue to appeal for witnesses following the death of photographer Sussie Ahlburg whose body was found in a Hampstead Heath bathing pond in August.

The Metropolitan Police are still treating the photographer’s death as unexplained ahead of an inquest due later this month.

A spokesman for St Pancras Coroner’s Court today confirmed to Amateur Photographer that the inquest is expected to take place on 19 December.

Initial post-mortem tests proved inconclusive.

Speaking in August, Detective Sergeant Trevor Plumb of Camden CID said: ‘Sussie’s death is being treated as unexplained but we are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen her around the ladies’ pond during Sunday 4 August.’

The Sweden-born photographer had been reported missing by her family after failing to return home.

Anyone who has any information or who was in the area at the time is urged to call police on 101.
