Park Cameras has revealed a redesigned Olympus touch-and-try zone at its flagship store in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. The move aims to make it easier for customers to try out Olympus gear and see how they can enhance their existing kit with Olympus cameras, lenses and accessories. Store bosses say the move is part of a ‘significant investment’ project. Park Cameras has also recently replaced more than 3,600 square feet of floor space. The new Olympus touch-and-try zone was opened on 14 March by Olympus national account manager Sean Smith. For details visit www.parkcameras.com.

PRESS RELEASE

United Kingdom, 16 March 2015 – Park Cameras, one of the UK’s leading independent photographic retailers, today announces the latest developments to their flagship store in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

New Olympus area takes customers’ in-store experience to the next level
Since its opening in 2008, thousands of customers have visited the award-winning independent photographic retailer Park Cameras, in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, where customers have been able to try an unprecedented number of photographic products, all under one roof. In March 2015, a significant investment took place to completely redevelop the Olympus area of the store. This is part of our commitment to improving customers’ shopping experience and to showcase the latest cameras, lenses and accessories. The area was officially opened by Olympus national account manager Sean Smith on Saturday 14 March. It is now easier than ever for customers to try the latest products at Park Cameras’ innovative store.

Every part of the old Olympus area in the store was completely rebuilt, and is now not only visually stunning, but it has also been designed in such a way that it is now easier than ever for customers visiting Park Cameras to try out the Olympus range of products. A range of accessories are also displayed so it is easy to see how your photo kit can be enhanced with additional lenses, flashguns, cases and more!
As ever, the Park Cameras team of friendly experts are on hand to guide customers and offer advice, and are always on hand to provide in-depth product information, as well as giving valuable recommendations on the best products for visiting customers. As an Olympus Premium Dealer, when taking a trip to the store you’ll also find a technical expert from Olympus UK on a number of weekends to help answer any query you might have. He often brings with him the latest new products before launch, such as the E-M5 Mark II or the recently announced SH-2, so that customers at Park Cameras can be one of the first in the UK to experience the latest in the Olympus range.

Store manager Chris Reszke (pictured with Sean Smith) spoke about the redesigned Olympus area, stating: ‘This area of the store has made it even easy to show off the impressive range of cameras and lenses available from Olympus, so customers can test the functionality before making a purchase decision. I think it is extremely important that our customers can physically try the kit out for themselves, and combined with our knowledgeable staff, we will help them find the right product for their needs. We have also recently replaced over 3,600 square feet of the store floor to further enhance the customer experience so we hope that you like that too!

‘I’d like to take this opportunity to thank customers for their patience during the refurbishment project and apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused. However, I trust that our customers, both old and new, will agree that it has been worth it!’

There’s never been a better time to visit Park Cameras, with a wide range of fantastic offers available both in-store and online at www.parkcameras.com.
