For 99% of photographers, focus bracketing and focus stacking are of no interest, simply because autofocus is already very fast and accurate. However, for macro photography and certain other applications it is a real boon. Olympus are paving the way here, providing a great in-camera tool that hopefully will remove the necessity to do this complex work in Photoshop. Well done Olympus, let’s hope Nikon, Canon and Sony follow suit.
