Nikon has issued a statement following rumours that it is about to release a modified version of its D3 (pictured), to include ‘full HD’ video.

A growing number of articles on the internet suggest that Nikon’s next professional DSLR will be called the ‘D3s’, and boast ‘1,080-quality movie recording’.

Asked to comment on the rumours, a Nikon UK spokeswoman this morning told Amateur Photographer: ‘Unfortunately, we can’t comment on rumours about potential future product.’
