An amateur photographer?s self-portrait, apparently taken as a lighting experiment, is reported to be the inspiration for France?s answer to ?Banksy?.
The image of Jon Cartwright from London has appeared as graffiti on streets all over the world, according to today?s Metro newspaper.
French artist Christian Guemy contacted Jon after he posted the self-portrait on image sharing website Flickr.
The image has, so far, apparently turned up in Morocco, New York, Paris and Sao Paulo.
