Leica today announced that it will be opening a second London-based store at The Royal Exchange, in the heart of the City.

The outlet, known as Leica Store City, will open its doors on Monday 5 October 2015. Alongside offering a range of photographic and optics products, the store will offer photography exhibitions and events to its customers.

Jason Heward, managing director, Leica Camera Ltd, said, “The Royal Exchange is a natural ‘second home’ for Leica, with its rich heritage and prominent position. We are different from other photographic brands, and it is important for us to create beautiful stores in locations where our customers like to shop. At The Royal Exchange, we will offer the ultimate customer experience; a destination where customers can engage in a conversation with the brand. Our stores are places where new and existing Leica owners can meet our team of experts, and discuss how to become a better photographer by using the best photographic products.”

The store is still currently being completed, but Leica have issued an architect’s illustration of what the new Leica store will look like (above).

The address of the new store will be:
