Leica today unveiled the Leica M 'Edition 100', which includes a film-based rangefinder u2013 the first in over 10 years u2013 plus a Leica M Monochrom.

Only 101 sets have been made, and one of them will be on sale at the Westlicht auction in Vienna, Austria tomorrow.

The kit costs €40,000.

AP understands that more analogue models will be made, if there is sufficient demand.

The Leica M-A film camera is based on the Leica MP, launched in 2003.
