A man suspected of stealing u00a36,000 worth of Leica camera gear has been arrested, according to owners of the London shop which fell victim to the theft in May.
Red Dot Cameras, which is based in the City, has been told that police have arrested a man in connection with the theft.
A man escaped with a Leica M-E, a 50mm f/2 Summicron lens and a filter from the store on 16 May, during normal opening hours.
It is not clear whether the arrested man is also suspected of stealing gear from other stores across the South East, as reported earlier this year.
A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police had yet to respond to a request for comment at the time of writing.
