Photography legend David Bailey will be among speakers to take to the Super Stage at The Photography Show, organisers have revealed.
Bailey will be joined by renowned photographers including Nick Danziger, Chris Packham and Bruce Gilden to speak at the event, which takes place at the NEC in Birmingham from 19-22 March.
Bailey will be the subject of an ‘in-depth’ on-stage interview with writer and curator Sandy Nairne.
Giving an insight into what he may focus on at the show, Bailey said: ‘It takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the extraordinary.’
The speaker line-up is also due to include Alec Soth, Dan Rubin, Peter Dench, Lara Jade and Scott Kelby.
‘The diverse 2016 line-up is set to offer intriguing insights into each of the photographer’s careers and specialist areas, for pros an enthusiasts alike,’ organisers said today.
Wildlife photographer Chris Packham said: ‘While dealing with reality is always difficult, when you add wildlife to the mix with photography, taking control is invariably impossible.
‘It’s hard, but I’m very much looking forward to showing my better efforts and sharing the truth about how I got them on the Super Stage this year.’
Confirmed exhibitors so far include Canon, Nikon, Olympus, Fujifilm, Panasonic, Sony, Leica and Ricoh Imaging.
Organisers added: ‘The Photography Show offers something for everybody interested in the world of imagery.
‘Visitors can discover the latest techniques, spark their creativity, hear from photography heroes, find fantastic deals and get hands-on with the latest kit from over 200 exhibitors.’
