Today marks the official withdrawal of Konica Minolta from the photographic industry and the closure of the company?s UK office.

As from today Sony takes over the Konica Minolta digital SLR brand and customer services for Konica Minolta products which also include film cameras, digital still cameras, light meters and accessories.

Sony has confirmed that Staffordshire-based Johnsons Photopia Ltd has been appointed as the official servicing agent for Konica, Minolta and Konica Minolta branded products, either within or outside their warranty. These products include digital still cameras, digital SLRs, film-based SLRs, lenses, film scanners, film compacts, flashguns and accessories.
