Jessops sales have jumped 30% since the business was taken over by Peter Jones, according to an interview with the entrepreneur published by The Times newspaper.

The Dragons’ Den star (pictured) brought the chain back to life just before Easter after it fell into administration under previous owners in January.

The apparent sales surge was reported in the Weekend section of The Times, published on Saturday 9 November.

Jessops currently operates 28 stores.

Peter Jones could not be reached for comment at the time of writing.

Amateur Photographer has made requests for business updates from Jessops over recent weeks.
