The next Jessops Academy Big Cats Photography Course takes place at the Cat Survival Trust centre in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, on 10 August.

Jessops says of the £125 course: ‘This exceptional experience for both photographers and wildlife lovers allows you to get up close to a variety of cats, including snow leopards, Amur leopards, pumas, servals and many more.’

Delegates will be given special access to the animals in a secluded setting away from the public – ensuring photographs show them in a ‘natural-looking environment’.

The course is open to all levels of photographer.

Participants must bring a camera with a telephoto zoom lens, a tripod or monopod and a spare battery, plus a battery charger.

Areas covered will include the importance of understanding animal behaviour.

Attendees must be aged 18 and over.
