Five years since the invasion of Iraq, photographs portraying the war have been unveiled for an exhibition to pay tribute to the 125 journalists reported to have died in the conflict.

The fifth anniversary exhibition is organised by Reuters news agency, featuring pictures captured by Reuters staff.

?This is a tribute to the 125 journalists who have died in the conflict, including seven colleagues, and is testament to the bravery and tenacity of those who have born witness through half a decade of conflict,? said Reuters head of Visual Projects, Jassim Ahmad.

Bearing Witness: Five Years of Reporting War in Iraq will take place at the new Idea Generation Gallery in Shoreditch from 9 April-4 May.

The exhibition ? the first at the gallery – will also combine video and graphics to give visitors a ?revealing insight into the daily obstacles faced by reporters on the ground?, say organisers.

The Idea Generation Gallery is located at 11 Chance Street, London E2 7JB.

It will be open from Mon-Fri 11am-5pm (until 8pm on Thursdays); and Saturday noon-4pm.

Entry will be free.
