The winning image selected by the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) was taken by Kati Fichtelmen, a Manchester-based photographer.

Phil Jones, The Societies of Photographers’ CEO, said: ‘Kati’s image delivers the theme of the competition perfectly, a beautiful portrait with a pleasing monochromatic feel.’

Kati has won 12 months membership to the SWPP for her image. Runners-up Martin Leckie and Angela Adams have both won 6 months membership.

The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP) has announced the winner and runners up of their recent ‘Monochrome Portraiture’ photography competition.

For this competition we asked for ‘Monochrome Portraiture’ entries could have been anything from weddings, children, pets, and families anything that shows the monochromatic essence of the image

Kati Fichtelmann’s image was chosen as the winner from over 380 entries.
