Swedish camera maker Hasselblad has announced the UK availability of the Lunar compact system camera (CSC).

The Lunar was unveiled at last year’s Photokina trade show as a 24.3-million-pixel, APS-C-format, CSC aimed at enthusiasts – produced in a tie-up with Sony.

The Peter Jones store in Sloane Square, London will host its own Lunar launch event on Wednesday 12 June, where visitors will get the chance of a ‘hands-on demonstration’.

It is also available to buy at the Richard Caplan store in the capital, Harrods and Selfridges.

The Lunar is compatible with E-mount lenses, and A-mount lenses via an adapter.

The Hasselblad Lunar kit, which includes an 18-55mm lens as standard, costs £5,280.

It is not available body only.
