Fuji has today unveiled a new 2x converter for its X-series lenses that is designed to be weather and dust-resistant.

The Fujinon Teleconverter XF2X TC WR, due out from the end of June priced £349, is constructed from nine elements in five groups and built to resist temperatures down to -10°C. Phase-detection AF is possible when using the 2x converter with the XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR lens, according to Fuji, while contrast-detection AF is still available with the XF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR.
