Photographers and filmmakers of all ages and abilities are urged to enter the Environmental Photographer of the Year 2016.

The annual contest offers a top prize of £3,000 and is free to enter.
Organised by the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), the contest is seeking photographs and video captured after 1 January 2015.
Judges say they will be looking for entries that are ‘contemporary, creative, resonant, original and beautiful’.
Photographers can submit up to 10 pieces of work.
The competition includes Young Environmental Photographer of the Year, which is open to people aged under 25 and boasts a £1,000 prize.
The winner of the CIWEM Changing Climate Award will win £500.The deadline for entries is 18 April 2016.

Shorlisted entries are due to go on show at the Royal Geographical Society in London in June, before going on tour.
