The process allows users to move raw files from their Lightroom catalogue to DxO Optics Pro in one click, process them, and then return them to Lightroom in DNG format.

Previously, this would have required converting the raw files to JPEG or Tiff format.

Lightroom users will now have quick easy access to DxO Optics Pro’s most celebrated features, including its PRIME de-noising technology and DxO Smart Lighting for recovery of highlights.

DxO Optics Pro 9.5 adds 165 new camera/lens combinations to the software’s library of Optics Modules, which now stands at more than 18,000 strong.

Four new camera profiles have also been added to the upgrade – the Canon PowerShot G1 X Mark II, the Nikon 1 V3, the Panasonic Lumix GH4 and the Sony A6000.

Standard and Elite editions of DxO Optics Pro v9.5 are now available at shop.dxo.com and will be sold at a discount for a limited period.

DXO Optics Pro 9 Standard Edition is priced £79 (usual price £119), while its Elite counterpart will retail at £159 (usual price £239) until June 15, 2014.
