Jeremy Clarkson may have officially departed Top Gear, but his influence lingers in this slick April Fools video from the team at DigitalRev.

In a satirical take on the absurdly popular motoring show, the team shows off a new DSLR the Nikon D5*, a new 6-megapixel model that – in fairness – manages a pretty respectable time around the track.

In the video description, DigitalRev writes: ‘We’ve decided to change the style of our show to commemorate the premature demise of our favourite motoring show – Top Gear – by doing all future videos in the Top Gear-style, starting off with the amazing new Nikon D5*.’

As April Fools gags go, you have to give them some points for effort.
