The Pictar – which promises to put controls familiar to DSLR users at their fingertips – has so far raised over $160,000 from more than 1,500 backers worldwide on Kickstarter.

The device’s manfacturer, Miggo, initially planned to make the Pictar compatible with users of iPhones ranging from the iPhone 4 to the 6s.

However, they have since announced plans to make it compatible with the iPhone 6 Plus and iPhone 6s Plus following requests from users.
