A Canon EOS-branded interchangeable-lens digital video camera has been used to shoot the first-ever movie to be captured entirely on board planes in flight, according to the firmu2019s US office.

The film, called Departure Date, was shot over nine days on three commercial flights at an altitude of 35,000 feet.

Announced last November, the C300 features a Super 35mm CMOS imaging sensor and records images in Full HD resolution.

Producers said they used PL-mounted compact prime lenses, adding that the EOS C300 system was ideal for shooting in the tight confines of airline cabins.
