A VIP pass to photograph the BBC Electric Proms music event in Camden, London is up for grabs to the winner of a digital imaging competition. However, we are investigating concerns that the competition’s terms grant the BBC copyright in all the resulting images from the shoot.

Entrants are asked to submit a digital image that best depicts the competition?s theme ?Live/Life?.

A BBC spokesman said that the shot should be ?inspirational? and could show, for example, friends having a night out at a club, a home music studio or a ?crazy weekend? at a music festival.

Entries can be shot on a digital camera or cameraphone.

The winner will get the chance to document the first BBC Electric Proms which takes place at The Roundhouse, Camden from 25-29 October. The resulting pictures will then be published on the BBC website at bbc.co.uk/electricproms

The closing date is 8 September.

The winner and five runners-up will be announced on 15 September.
