AP’s art editor chooses his favourite reader
image from the past week’s uploads to our Reader Gallery.
Not being a huge fan of
wildlife photography my choice this week was something of a surprise to me.
‘Badgerman’ AKA Colin, a longtime AP forum contributor, posted a number of
shots of his favourite subjects including, of course, a badger. But the image that
caught my eye appears almost 3D – like a lenticular print – on my screen. The
background has been thrown so far out of focus that the subject appears to
float above it. For this reason – along with the composition and detail – my
choice this week is ‘Blue Tit’ by Badgerman. Well done, Colin
