Who'd be interested in an AP Meet-Up at the British Wildlife Centre?

I was hugely impressed with this place yesterday; the opportunities for really good shots are endless, so long as you're willing to be a bit patient.

They offer special "Photographic Days" (see here ), when they are closed to the public, and access to some animals' enclosures is allowed. It does state £49 per individual, but I am sure that enough were intersted we could possibly negotiate a group rate.

So please register your interest here.

Put me down for a possible (dependant on date).

I'm 'up' for it - again depending on date.

Near East Grinstead-Crawley to save others looking it up. The special photography days look interesting, but if you go ahead before my savings plan pays out, I doubt that I can afford the admission charge! Gulp, £49 is an awful lot to pay; if you negotiate a 50%reduction, that would make it seriously worth considering (date and other commitments depending, of course)

No way - it would take half a day to get there! :(

Can't see the price for special photography days, but...
W.I., Rotary Clubs and other adult groups at £8 each including tea/coffee and an exclusive guided tour.

Would it really be so much more for a special day???

Does sound excessively expensive! And a very long way away :(

I'll go. As long as it's not the end of this month.

If you go on a normal day, it's only £7 an adult..... Sometime I'll be taking my family tbere as it's only about 30 minutes from our home.

I would be interested, depending on day, as its only 15 minutes or so from me, and no I didn't know it was there!

I'd go but not sure I can cough £49 or thereabouts. It is close to me so location not an issue.

    Good idea!

Well the more people we have the better rate we can negotiate!

That's south of the Thames isn't it? Count me out this time - I'd have to apply for a visa.

We're all at different stages. I was very scared when I went to the first meet up in Cambridge, but we're all lovely people really. ;)

    Except those that don't like punting ;) ;) ;)

    Hmmm

Thinking about it, I don't particularly like punting. Much prefer rowing. So I withdraw the previous comment ;)

I'm sort of interested but nearly £50 does seem a bit steep, especially seeing the shots you managed to get when there on Saturday with the family, Pam.

Put me down for a maybe.

BTW, you do realise they are weekdays only?

    Just checking. :)
