I was in. Cambridge on some family business for couple of days and discovered that the Fitzwilliam museum is staying a major exhibition on the master codebreaker, including some rarely seen material from Kings College archives. I will have to make a special journey to see it properly but it occurred me that others might like to know if was happening Details are on the Fitzwilliam web site.

It's an astonishingly complicated story and I wonder how much an exhibition can really tell you. I've found Hugh Sebag-Montefiore's "Enigma" the best compromise between detail and readability on the subject. At least I got through to the end of it! :)

Will it be seen in other places?

Oh, sorry, you said "Turing", not "Touring."

Seriously, I'd love to see it. Sadly, too far away.

    Cheers,

    R.

Thanks for the "heads up". Having seen the Bletchley Park exhibition several times, it will be good to have a different take on the subject.

Oh, I would have gone too. My uncle was there at that time. The shame was he died before we found out.
