Not been on this forum for quite a while (sorry admins & moderators) so apologies if this suject has been covered before.

For the last 2 1/2 weeks of May this year Mrs Lawsyd & I will be going to South Africa for that once in a lifetime trip. We will be covering an awful lot of territory in our time in the country (starting, briefly, in Johannesburg & ending up in Cape Town via Kruger National Park; Durban; and many points in between) on an organised tour.

Any advice on safety while in the country &, or, advice for taking photos in, & close to, the tropics?

My equipment is a Canon EOS70D body; 18-55 kit lens; 10-18 wide-angle; and 70-300 zoom.

Thanks, in advance, for any thoughts or opinions,

I've just realised that this query would probably be better positioned in the 'Help' sub-forum. Is there any chance of changing the location of my thread, admins or moderators, please?
