I recently saw an news item in i think AP regarding the Nikon F80 and Sigma 70-200 HSM EX F2.8 lenses. The report was about them not working correctly together. I have looked for the item but cant find it! I have phoned sigma but can't get any real info. I would like to purchase the lense and would like to know if it's all lenses and what to look for.

Was it definitely the 70-200 f/2.8, and was it really for new lenses? There are problems for older lenses when used with some of the newer Nikons, but these can be resolved by SIgma who re-chip the lens. To get it done for free, you need to have a receipt for the new camera and lens.
