Purple skies seen across England with sunrises

    Not me. I was well on the way to work on the train by then, and it was daylight when I got off the train. The only purple for me was the prose I was composing in my half-sleep on the 6:57 to London.

    It's been a long time since I've seen sunrise, remind me again, isn't it the dramatic lighting conditions seen on the way home from an unusually late session at the pub?

    :D Actually, that was a criticism of a seascape photo I posted in Appraisal recently - there was a magenta cast to it.

    Where'd you get that from? Throughout Europe it's black unless you're a queen - in which case it may be white.
