Hard to tell if Priti or Boris should be first to go. Thoughts?

    Just give 'em both spades.

They are so good at digging themselves in it, they will have themselves at the earth's core in a week or two.:D

Nah. Just exile 'em both to the Glorious Sunlit Uplands. They can forage for food and water. Unicorn soup, anyone?

But then a horrible thought came to mind. If they could find enough to live on, they might constitute a breeding pair. Well, A.B. de P. J. would probably try, anyway.

Question: would you then get hyperBrexiters (who want to leave the Earth, or possibly even the Solar System) as well as Europe, or would regression to the mean encourage a bit of sanity?

So maybe, yes: a cigarette and a blindfold might be kinder for the future of humanity. You needn't necessarily shoot them. Just don't let 'em take the blindfold off. Or light the cigarette.

    Dear Andy,

You're not supposed to use language like that, even if A.B.de P. J. sees nothing wrong with it.

Quite right. Always use the phrase "bloody shovel". In this context that should generally be taken literally.

I think regression to the "primordial slime" would be more likely. and in Priti quick time too.

And here's me thinking that someone would pull me up on the use of the word 'shovel' as the incorrect tool for digging:confused:....err, am I allowed to say tool?

Maurice, a regular at the Flying Horse, is generally known as a surface coating technician and takes a lot of stick for his extensive use of magnolia paint.

I remember that there was a free wine-tasting event one evening and Maurice approached they young lady who was handing out the samples of wine.

"Would you prefer white or red?" she asked, and a voice from the bar shouted over "have you got any magnolia, love?"

    Cheers, Jeff

Well, Ugandan discussions were at least tangentially related in both cases.
