In Boxley, there is a lovely Church. Opposite the church is a pub. A road runs down the side of the pub.. take a walk to the end of that road to see the most ammazing poppy field you'll ever see!!!

Would love to drive down, but it's the best part of two hours to get there :(

M2, come of junc 3 and head towards lordswood. At last roundabout follow signs to boxley. at bottom of hill, theres the pub on the right and church on the left.
    Job done :)

WOW. This is just what I am looking for.
How long do Poppies flower for?

I am trying to get the hobby side of my photography off the ground with some organised fashion style shotos and am looking for all sorts of locations.
This would be perfect for one of them.
Can you access this field? Is it open to public?

I am also looking for a venue to do my own 'trash the dress' shoot. I just want to have a fun summer shoot done in my wedding dress before i get rid of it. This could be perfect. Any other suggestions??

Sorry little miss but they are gone now. The fields are now just ploughed mud.
Apparently it happens every 7 years so.....

I recomment The Strand at Dawn or Riverside for some locations :)
