Photojournalist and film-maker Harry Hook captures images of some of Africa's most remote tribes and peoples in a reflective
journey across the continent where he grew up. Travelling around Kenya's Samburu district - an area approximately the size
of Wales - he endeavours to track down five women whom he first photographed 30 years ago, in a bid to find out how their

    Hidden Histories: WW1's Forgotten Photographs
    BBC4 Thursday 13th March 2014 21:00

The story of soldiers' photography during the First World War. Some British and German troops marched into battle with secret
vest pocket cameras in the hope of recording what they believed would be a great adventure, however few were prepared for
the horrors they would witness. The photos, many of which have never been seen in public before, provide an account of their
lives in the trenches and their rapid loss of innocence, and the programme follows their relatives as they search for the secrets
    hidden in their ancestors' images.

    Helmut by June
    BBC4 Thursday 13th March 2014 23:00

A portrait of the photographer Helmut Newton by his wife and frequent collaborator June. He revolutionised fashion photography,
with his highly eroticised images transforming women into icons. In this documentary, June turns the tables on her husband and
offers a look into his personal and creative life, and demonstrates how he is comfortable on both sides of the camera.
