    Free licensed copy of the Essential version available via www.dxo.com/digitalcamerauk.

    You have to register with your email address to get the download/licence key, but after that the camera/lens packs appear to be free.

    If a passing mod with time on his/her hands feels like moving it...

    It's pretty good, but is barebones - no Prime NR, or(I think) Clearview.

    If it supports your camera/lens combination, grab it.

    I have just installed this and processed my first photo with it. So far it's the first PS alternative I have tried that does not seem to require a steep relearning curve.

    Not sure about the camera/lens packs though as I don't have an internet connected PC.
