It's definitely not a day for a leisurely walk.

Yes, I use those steps to climb up on my way home. Great shortcut!

6th November. Cold, wet, dirty dishwater. My least favourite wet thing in the world. I'll be having 'words' with someone about it later on!

My window needs cleaning (think of it as a kind of filter if you like) but even so, the weather is just as dirty looking and I have no desire to go outside today!

What on earth are those funny grey things in the sky .
It appears to be a shade of blue from one side to the other here :) Now where did I put those sunglasses........

It is freezing here today. I am in full-on hibernation mode with my slippers on and a big woolly blanket wrapped round my shoulders and seriously considering how much longer we can go without putting the heating on!

Heating! Blimey, ours has been on every morning since the end of September! Brrrrr (Southern Softie I am these days!)

Doesn't look good for the current theme down here for a while

Wet inside (or a trip down Nostalgia lane)

My (long dead) mother had a Dartmouth Gluggle jug in her flat that always fascinated her grandchildren, and they have often said that they would like another but we never seemed to find one. However in my last trip to the cottage I found this on the kitchen table - eldest daughter had spotted one in the local charity shop!

Once again, I've plundered my archive...............

EXPO 2000 - Iceland's pavilion - the outer walls are covered in running water. (It was very difficult to photograph, hence the cut off top!)
